Texas Hill Country holidays

Two weeks left until Christmas and we’ve got one more location near us that we just have to tell you about. The Texas Hill Country area is full of quaint little towns, like Marble Falls, which is around 50 miles away from Fredericksburg. These little towns are full of their own personal and special holiday events.

Similar to Austin’s Trail of Lights, Marble Falls has it’s own Walkway of Lights. The holiday spectacle includes two million lights reflecting off Lake Marble Falls and it really is a sight to see. The Walkway will be open nightly from Nov. 20 to Jan. 3.

We’re really looking forward to Cailloux Theater’s presentation of “Every Christmas Story Ever Told” in Kerrville on Nov. 28 through Dec. 19. This show features a 90-minute mash-up of every popular Christmas tradition from you’ve ever heard of. The holiday favorites you recognize will leave you feeling jolly and in the spirit of the holiday, which is exactly what you want!
“A Tuna Christmas” is another local event that we are really excited about. In this sequel to “Greater Tuna,” we experience Christmas in the third smallest town in Texas. Two actors play several characters in this dysfunctional holiday comedy. It’s okay if you haven’t seen “Greater Tuna” yet, you’ll still get and love “A Tuna Christmas.”
