Music Is In The Air

The holidays are upon us and oh! What a great time to visit the Texas Hill Country! The town of Fredericksburg offers a combination of a German and Texas holiday like no other you will ever see. One the best parts of the season are all of the musical activities that take place in Fredericksburg. Check out a few of our favorites below!

Rockbox Theater

A little bit of Las Vegas in the Texas Hill Country isn’t so far fetched if you know where to look. November 4th and 5th at the Rockbox Theater will feature a show full of music from Vegas’ top performers including Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and many more!

Later in the month, Andy Meadows and his Big Band put on the show of the season with “A Swingin’ Christmas Show.” Not only will you get to hear some of your favorite holiday hits, but also many hilarious skits thrown in to keep it interesting. The show runs from November 25th through December 24th, so there’s plenty of time during the holidays to catch a great show.

Luckenbach’s Thanksgiving Ball

Whether you’re a two-steppin’ expert or if you’ve just strapped on your first pair of boots, be sure you come on down to Luckenbach to take part in the Thanksgiving Dance at the infamous Luckenbach Dance Hall. Live country/blues music fills the hall and guests of all ages are welcome. The show takes place on November 26th at 8 p.m. so strap on your dancing shoes and head on down!

20 Seasons of Song- Fredericksburg Theater

The show will feature many favorites from the past as well as a silent auction and celebratory gala on opening night, November 11th.
